Senior Citizens Law Center
The NSCLC is an advocacy organization that provides education and counseling for advocates nationwide. It does not provide legal advice or guidance to individuals, but there are many local advocates and organizations that do. NSCLC does provide consumer publications and works with other aging organizations to accomplish its goals.
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) -
Founded in 1987 as a professional association of attorneys who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to seniors and people with special needs.
The NAELA membership is comprised of attorneys in the private and public sectors who deal with legal issues affecting seniors and people with disabilities. Members also include judges, professors of law, and students.
National Elder Law Foundation - The National Elder Law Foundation is the only national organization certifying practitioners of elder and special needs law. NELF's Certified Elder Law Attorney designation is itself certified by the American Bar Association.
